Stay, Explore, and Play in Albion

Downtown Albion is anchored by a Marriott Courtyard Hotel and is home to a vibrant and growing downtown featuring multiple specialty retail stores, several restaurants, a bakery, a brewery, bookstore, library, Kids “N” Stuff hands-on children’s museum, the Bohm Theatre (live performance, music, movies), and a seasonal mid-week Farmer’s Market in Stoffer Plaza. Albion has a growing culture that supports the arts and music and many unique festivals and special events that happen only in Albion.

Albion is a trail town! The Albion River Trail connects to the Calhoun County, North Country Scenic, Great Lake-to-Lake, and the Iron Belle Trails.  A multi-use, paved path that runs alongside the Kalamazoo River for 1.6 miles just to the east of downtown, the Albion River Trail connects with nearby Victory Park and Rieger Park, adjoining riverbank parks with 48 acres of multiple year-round recreational opportunities for all ages. The 140-acre Whitehouse Nature Center, owned and operated by Albion College, offers 5 walking trails and is open to public schools and the greater Albion community for environmental education.

From annual festivals to one time special events, there’s always something fun happening in Albion!
